Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2026
By using Code Royale you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. The service
Code Royale provides a competitive coding game: you battle other players or a bot through timed multiple-choice and code-analysis challenges. The service is provided "as is" and may change over time.
2. Fair play
- Do not use automation, scripts, or multiple accounts to manipulate Elo or rankings.
- Do not attempt to disrupt matchmaking, battles, or other players' experience.
- Do not attempt to access data you are not authorized to see.
Accounts that violate fair play may be suspended or have their ratings reset, at our discretion.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for your account. Sign-in is provided through third-party providers (GitHub, X) and we only store the minimum data needed to run the game.
4. Intellectual property
The game, its design, branding and code are the property of their respective owners. Challenge content may reference standard computer-science concepts, which are not claimed as proprietary.
5. Disclaimers
Code Royale is a game and learning tool. Challenge content is provided for educational and entertainment purposes and is not professional, legal, or security advice. We make no warranty of uninterrupted availability or error-free content.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
